Nivelya is a small jewelry house. Most of what we make is engraved with somebody’s name, so most of what we make is made once.
We started because the personalized jewelry we could find was either mass-stamped and thin, or priced as though adding a name added a zero. There is a lot of room between those two, and it is where we work: warm gold-tone finishes, cut and set by hand, at prices that do not assume the piece has to be a once-in-a-lifetime purchase.
Everything is made after you order it. That costs a few days at the bench and it means we hold almost no stock — but it also means the ring that arrives was made for the name on it, rather than pulled from a drawer of near-matches.
Engraved name rings, initial necklaces, and rings, necklaces and bracelets set with birthstones. We work in warm gold-tone finishes, for people who want the warmth without the price.
Nothing here is mass-produced. Pieces are cut, engraved and finished in small batches, which is why an engraved order takes 3–7 business days before it ships rather than leaving the same afternoon.
A ring with a name on it is not really about the ring. It is about a person, a date, a word someone said once. That is a strange thing to mass-manufacture, and it is the reason we would rather stay small and get the details right — the spacing of the letters, the depth of the cut, the way the band sits.
It is also why we email you to check the text before we cut it if anything looks unusual. Engraving is not reversible.
